PSANZ SANDA Workshop-Upskilling yourself on fetal movement advice and management and communicating with bereaved parents

Friday 23rd March
10.00am – 3.00pm (Registration opens 09.15am)
Upskilling yourself on fetal movement advice and management and communicating with bereaved parents
The PSANZ Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Alliance (SANDA) Subcommittee and NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth (Stillbirth CRE)will host this two part one-day workshop.
In our morning session we will provide the most up-to-date evidence and best practice guidance on how to advise women about fetal movements during their pregnancy and how to manage women presenting with reduced fetal movements. During our interactive afternoon workshop health care providers (including midwives, obstetricians, neonatologists, neonatal nurses and sonographers) will be expertly guided through highly valuable communication tools for clinicians to use whilst working directly with bereaved parents, both at the immediate time of loss and through subsequent care.
You have the opportunity to register for the full day of the workshop or select to attend our morning or afternoon sessions. Lunch will be provided to those attending.
